Become a PGC Approved Educator

The Professional Grooming Credential program is designed to assist the Professional Grooming Industry by offering peer-reviewed and PGC approved Education listings. The program will recognize CEUs for all verified participants of PGC Approved Education sessions.

Educators

Educators may submit their content such as seminars (live and virtual), videos, books, articles, workshops, etc. for PGC Approval. The content is independently reviewed, measured, and scored for relevance to the PGC Standards of Care and Knowledge. Once approved, the content can be utilized for CEUs (1-course hour is equal to 1 CEU) and pre-exam opportunities. Courses may be offered in various formats and Candidates will receive CEUs equivalent to the specific session they attend. PGC Approved Education must be current and on the published list to qualify for professional trade CEUs.

PGC Educator Badge

$99 per approved course, valid for 5 years.

1. The following presentation formats qualify: live seminars, online seminars, books, workshops, lectures, single video, and hands-on education.

2. PGC logoed attendance form, certificate, or receipt must be submitted to grooming students following the successful completion of each course for CEU record-keeping.

The PGC Approved Content Submission Application process has 4 easy steps:

  • Step 1: Click here to complete your PGC Educator payment.

  • Step 2: After completing the payment above, you will receive an email with a link to our submission portal. All submissions are secure and confidential. Please upload and complete all of your content submissions in the portal.

  • Step 3: After your submission has been completed, educators will be notified by email within 30 days once the independent review has been completed. If approved, the Approval Badge will remain active for 5 years.

  • Step 4: All approved Content will be published on the PGC Approved Education page and remain active for 5 years. Submitters will receive digital media assets as well as instructions on participating in the PGC CEU program. Content that is not approved may be resubmitted within 12 months at no additional fee.

  • All Educators and submitters agree to follow the PGC Standards of Care and Code of Ethics. Failure to comply with the PGC Standards of Care and Code of Ethics may result in the revocation of the PGC Approval.
